I remember being a kid and finding this interesting for about a minute but mostly menacing. The kids for whom this is "wacky" enough (4 - 6 year olds) are not going to connect the ideas that the all white area is them inside the machine. Frenetic disconnected aimless stimuli is actually bad for kids.
